Ready to Wrench, Race, and Live the Motorcycle Life?

At Cheap Thrills Motorsports, we’re not just a shop—we’re a crew of riders and gearheads who bleed gasoline and breathe horsepower. Based in Eden Prairie, MN, we’re the local lifeline for new OEM, aftermarket, and used motorcycle repair parts, performance upgrades, and tires that grip the road or shred the track. We keep bikes purring with general maintenance and hit the racetrack as the Regional Pirelli Race Tire Vendor, supporting our local racing community with trackside services. Now, we’re on the hunt for an Entry-Level C/B-Level Technician—a wrench-turning, tire-slinging motorcycle lover ready to dive into the heart of our operation.

This isn’t your average gig—it’s your chance to get greasy, build race-ready beasts, and feel the rush of the track. Whether you’re fresh out of school, still studying, or eyeing an internship that smells like oil and sounds like a revving V-twin, this role’s for you—part-time (15-20 hours/week) or full-time (up to 40), your pick. You’ll handle maintenance, prep race bikes, and roll with us at events, earning hourly pay plus overtime when the rubber meets the track. Got your own tools? That’s a bonus—not a must. If you’ve got a passion for bikes and a itch to learn, this is your throttle to twist. Let’s ride!

What You’ll Do (Your Wrenches, Your World)

As our C/B-Level Technician, you’ll be the pulse of our shop—fixing, building, and prepping bikes with precision and pride. No fancy degree? No sweat—we’ll train you up if you’ve got the heart and a bit of know-how. Here’s your full-throttle rundown:

  • Keep ‘Em Rolling: Tackle general maintenance—tire swaps, brake jobs, fluid changes—getting customer bikes back on the road fast and safe.
  • Build Race Legends: Prep and tune motorcycles for the track—think suspension tweaks, race tire mounts, and safety checks that win races.
  • Trackside Glory: Join us at select regional race events (May-Sept), mounting and balancing tires in the pits—feel the roar, earn the cash.
  • Wrench on the Fly: Handle random repairs—swap a chain, fix a leak, or tune shop gear—keeping everything running smooth.
  • Pitch In, Power Up: Help tear down bikes, wash parts for photos, pack orders, and restock supplies—every task fuels the mission.
  • Own the Details: Keep the shop clean—sweep floors, organize tools—and make safety your mantra with every bolt you tighten.

Hours flex to your life—part-time (M-F, 9-5 slots you choose) or full-time (40 hours/week)—with weekend race action (May-Sept) for extra pay and epic vibes. You’ll work under our founders—two motorcycle vets with 20+ years of racing and wrenching cred—and alongside a crew that lives for the ride.

Who You Are (The Rider We’re Revving For)

We’re after passion, precision, and a love for two wheels—some experience helps, but heart trumps all. Here’s the perfect pit crew member:

  • Motorcycle Maniac: You’re hooked on bikes—riding, wrenching, or dreaming of race day. Tell us your bike tale!
  • Ready to Learn: Fresh out of school, in college, or craving an internship? Ideal—we’ll build on your spark. Got some shop time or tech training? Even better.
  • Tool Bonus: Own your own gear (wrenches, sockets)? Awesome—not required (shop’s got you covered).
  • Detail Driven: Thorough and sharp—because a loose bolt’s no joke, and a clean job wins trust.
  • Weekend Warrior: Cool with some summer weekends at race events—think sun, speed, and overtime.
  • Built for It: Can lift 50+ lbs (tires, parts) and brings energy to match our crew—shop life’s a hustle.

Why You’ll Love Wrenching with Cheap Thrills Motorsports

  • Pay That Packs Punch: Hourly (based on what you bring) + performance based bonuses, with overtime opportunity at races—your wallet grows with your grit.
  • Flex Your Way: Part-time or full-time—your schedule, your ride. Perfect for students, interns, or anyone balancing life and bikes.
  • Learn from Legends: Train under founders with 20+ years of racing and shop chops—skills you can’t buy.
  • Trackside Thrills: Get paid to live the race life—tire swaps and pit vibes you’ll never forget.
  • Crew Vibes: Join a rider family—free swag (tees, decals), invites to roll with us, and a spot in the pack.
  • Launch Your Path: From rookie to pro, this is your springboard—mechanics, racing, or beyond.
