This part-time, event-only role (weekends, May-September) is perfect for students, recent grads, or anyone with a passion for bikes and a hunger to learn—no shop work, just pure trackside action. You’ll mount tires, fix bikes, and sling parts, earning hourly pay plus overtime when the days run long. Got your own tools? That’s a bonus—not a must. What You’ll Do (Your Pit, Your Pulse)
As our Trackside Technician, you’ll be the backbone of our race-day crew—keeping bikes race-ready, riders stoked, and sales humming in the heat of the action. No experience? No sweat—we’ll train you up if you’ve got the fire. Here’s your trackside playbook:
- Tire Master: Mount and balance Pirelli race tires with precision, getting riders back on the track in record time.
- Pit-Stop Pro: Tackle quick repairs—chain tweaks, brake checks, or emergency fixes—so racers never miss a lap.
- Parts Pusher: Sell parts and gear—sprockets, pads, or performance kits—directly to riders, turning needs into sales.
- Trackside Vibe: Bring the Cheap Thrills energy—chat up riders, answer questions, and make every pit stop feel like a win.
- Setup & Flow: Help load/unload gear, set up our trackside station, and keep the workspace tight—ready for chaos.
- Safety First: Double-check every job—tires, bolts, repairs—because on the track, there’s no room for error.
This is an event-only gig—weekend work (Saturday-Sunday, sometimes Friday) at regional tracks from May to September, averaging 8-20 hours per weekend when scheduled. You’ll roll with our founders—two racing vets with 20+ years of grit—and a crew that lives for the roar of the crowd.
